Amazing - with great support from friends and family we reached our original $1,000 goal, and upped it to $1,500. We've blown by that and are now nearing $2,000. There's still time to support Team Sisters before the September 7 race - help us break that $2K mark.WHY WE'RE RACING WITH JENNIFER:
We, too, have personal experience with pancreatic cancer. Two years ago, Marianne (Paine) was diagnosed with early stage pancreatic cancer after surgery for a blocked pancreatic duct. She was fortunate to have found her cancer early - and just as fortunate to have, like Jennifer, Dr. Margaret Tempero as her oncologist. She's been through 6 months of chemotherapy and is scanned and screened every three months by Dr. Tempero and her staff. So far so good....but, to be honest, it's still way scary.
Pam (David) is also a colleague and friend of Jennifer's. So we have lots of reasons to support the Pancreatic Research Center. Please help us meet our $1,000 goal - our race may be a bit more of a walk than a race - but what's important is getting across that finish line.
